Executive Director, Specialty Chemicals

Mike Malveda currently leads global research for various chemical intermediates, fibers and films products. He brings 20+ years of experience in market research and analysis for the chemical industry. Mike has led and conducted primary and secondary market research on over 25 multi-client studies covering petroleum-based materials, bio-based chemicals, and food products.

Prior to joining IHS Markit, now S&P Global, Mr. Malveda worked in a laboratory setting for both the electronic chemicals and chemical environmental testing fields. Mike holds a BS in Bioresource Sciences from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
