With more than 24 years at Ford Motor Company, he is currently the Director of the Product Development area, made up of more than 2,800 Mexican engineers.
He studied Electrical Mechanical Engineering at the Anahuac University and a master’s in Strategic Planning on Engineering and Technology. As well as 20+ courses on specialized automotive development, testing and validation at Ford Motor Company in Detroit, at the University of Michigan, Wayne State University and in Europe.
He has lead assignments in Mexico, USA, Germany, and Japan. His work has been effective at different assembly plants around the world, such as Ujina in Japan, Cologne in Germany, Sao Bernardo in Brazil, Rayong in Thailand, Nanjing in China and Hermosillo and Cuautitlan in Mexico.
In the USA he was responsible for Chassis Engineering for Trucks and SUVs. In Japan, he was responsible for global CUV and SUV platform development in the areas of Chassis Design and Global Project Integration. In Germany he was responsible for the development, testing and validation of the compact car program. Since 2020 in Mexico, he has overseen and implemented the launch and production of projects for global products such as Ford Bronco Sport and Ford Maverick in Mexico plant.
Named One of the 30 promises in in Mexico by Expansion magazine, the country's leading business magazine. He stands out for his drive and ability to innovate results. He has collaborated in media such as the Discovery Channel, Excelsior, El Universal, printed and digital magazines, as well as given talks at private and public institutions to boost Automotive Engineering in Mexico. Additionally, he gives back to the community by participating in and promoting initiatives such as Ford's Shared Purpose and Lideres Contibuyendo.
