Managing Director

Tomas Peshkatari is a Managing Director of BlackRock’s Real Assets group, which manages over $70 billion of private capital across infrastructure and real estate.

Over the past two decades, Tomas has invested in infrastructure companies that engage in the transportation, storage and processing of hydrocarbons and electricity. Prior to BlackRock, Tomas was with The Carlyle Group where he invested from the infrastructure and power generation funds. Prior to that, he was at Credit Suisse’s Energy Investment Banking group.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Lackawanna Energy Center and Vopak Industrial Infrastructure Americas. He is also an Associate Board Member of the Cancer Research Institute and contributes his time to American Corporate Partners, an organization focused on helping veterans and active duty spouses find their next careers.

Tomas has an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Economics from Macalester College.
