Christine Thoms-Knox serves as Manager of Innovation for Bechtel Energy. She is responsible for leveraging technology to drive productivity and customer value, digital services and enhancing the organization’s innovation culture. Christine fosters relationships and partnerships with start-up companies and technology ecosystems that increase Bechtel’s impact of energy efficient technology development and deployment and innovation at every stage of the project lifecycle. Prior to joining Bechtel in early 2020, Christine serve d as Senior Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer at CB&I.

She has over 15 years of senior leadership experience in construction, energy, strategic planning, innovation, change management, investor relations, communications and marketing, organizational behavior, mergers and acquisitions, market research and development and governance.

Christine holds a master’s in business administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in advertising from The University of Texas. She serves on the board of directors of United Way of Greater Houston and The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Christine has been honored as one of the ‘Top 20 Under 40‘by Engineering News Record (ENR), ‘Top 40 Under 40 Professionals’ by the Houston Business Journal and 'Power 50 Recipients' by the National Diversity Council.
