Senior Vice President, US Gulf Coast

Rhoman assumed the role of Senior Vice President, Shell Chemicals and Products - US Gulf Coast in August of 2021.

Rhoman started his career with Shell in 1988 as an electrical engineer at the Taft Chemical Plant in Louisiana and has held positions of increasing responsibility in Shell’s manufacturing business. Rhoman worked in Shell’s distribution and pipeline business overseeing technical activities for a portion of the US. Rhoman worked in global assignments over 5 years supporting Shell’s global manufacturing business where he and his team were accountable for improving operational excellence in Shell’s manufacturing sites.

Rhoman has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University, Executive MBA from Rice University in Houston and Executive Leadership Training from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Rhoman serves as Chairman of the Board for Shell Oil Products, Director of the Board for Shell Chemical LP, and a board member of the Shell Pension and Provident Fund Trust. Rhoman is on the board and has served as past-chair of the Louisiana Chemical’s Association and the Baton Rouge General Hospital. In 2020, he was appointed by Governor John Bel Edwards to serve on the Louisiana Community and Technical College System (LCTCS) board.
