Joint Lead Chemical Consulting ECISA

Karine Boccara is the joint lead for the Chemical Consulting team based in London and covering Europe, the CIS and Africa. She has 26 years industrial experience in the chemical and natural gas industries covering consulting in most commodity chemicals and some specialty chemicals, and process design. She has led a multitude of projects to help producers develop new investment projects, review the impact of market outlooks, carry out market research, compare the benefits of different technologies, and review and enhance their supply and sales strategies. She has worked with lenders in providing market support for project finance; she has assisted private equity investors in the review and evaluation of businesses and assets.

In recent years, Karine has been leading cross-team sustainability projects across S&P Global Commodity Insights, including agribusiness (ammonia and biofuels), refining, hydrogen, gas and power, CCUS, energy transition, Energy & Climate scenarios and carbon markets. These projects have focused on the review of bio, circular and low carbon pathways to chemicals.
