Gajendra is working as a Principal Research Analyst in the Process Economics Program (PEP) team at IHS Markit. He is responsible for techno-economic evaluations focused on refinery and petrochemical commercial and emerging technologies. His work involves process design, cost engineering, competitive analyses, patent evaluations, recommended licensing, and technology direction. Some of his past projects include FCC, Slurry phase hydrocracking, Gas-to-Liquid fuels, LNG. He has more than 17 years of experience in the downstream sector and his area of expertise include process economics studies, process design, process simulation & optimization, engineering studies for validation of process design and control schemes. Prior to IHS Markit, he worked with Reliance Industries, Honeywell, Kellogg Brown & Root, CB&I and Stratas Advisors. Gajendra holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology.
