Braskem Idesa´s complex in Mexico has operated below capacity since its inauguration in 2016 due to insufficient ethane feed (raw material).

To overcome this situation two infrastructure solutions have been developed one for the medium term and another for the long term by investing in a large scale cryogenic ethane terminal.

Persistence in seeking innovative solutions and cooperation between provider, customer and government has demonstrated that infrastructure to support petrochemical projects in LATAM can be implemented for the benefit of investors, society and the countries where they are built.
