New Compression Applications to Decarbonize Petrochemical Plants

Thursday, 24 March

1:40 pm - 1:55 pm (CST) / 24/mar/2022 06:40 pm - 24/mar/2022 06:55 pm

The petrochemical industry is expanding and plastic demand increasing around the globe, at the same time as pressure for emissions reductions and greater need for sustainable operations. Meeting all these needs requires an efficient combination of CAPEX and OPEX, together with integrated process specifications to drive decarbonization and efficiency. Compressors play an important role as an enabler of increased performance, smaller footprint, lower CAPEX, less spares, simplified maintenance and improved OPEX. The Baker Hughes high-pressure ratio compression (HPRC) technology allows coverage of main compression services (e.g. PDH reactor effluent, Ethylene charge/cracked gas, refrigerants, H2 etc.) with reduced casings and impellers count even in large plants. This session will outline proven HPRC compressor technology applications ready to move petrochemical market to the next level.
