In his speech "How Mainland China’s Petrochemical Industry Plans to Achieve Peak Carbon and Carbon Neutrality", Mr. Xiangsheng Fu will first review the economic performance of the mainland’s petrochemical industry and the transformative changes it made last year, the first year of the 14th 5-Year Plan. He will then examine the implementation of and progress on the nation's peak carbon and carbon neutrality goals, focusing on what the "dual carbon" strategy requires of the industry. Lastly, Mr. Fu will outline how the industry is addressing these decarbonization goals, how to turn the challenges that they bring into opportunities, and how to seize these opportunities to innovate and develop the industry.
